I love computational workflows and shaping engineering.
Michal Dengusiak achieved his Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering at Poznan University of Technology in Poland in 2006. He started his career with Arup, where he achieved his Chartership status with CIBSE and formed a strong grounding in the Built Environment. Currently working for BuroHappold Engineering in Berlin and Bath as a Senior Computational Engineer, Michal is responsible for leading the discipline development within Building Environments under BHoM, and helping with seamless integration for the whole of MEP and Building Physics workflows. He is passionate about creative new approaches to modelling and thermal simulation, adopting parametric design techniques and BIM workflows concentrating on calculations and thereby improving project efficiency. Outside of work, you might find Michal beekeeping, playing badminton, or programming. He was awarded with two CIBSE Digital Engineering awards for innovation: his work on SAM (Single Analysis Model) and recognized as best Digital Engineer of the year.
